SPACE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERN #2
Internship subject: Embedded programming in innovative space systems.
Keywords: Embedded C language, RS485 communication protocol, encapsulation, PWM, PID, ADC, etc.
Within the development of our nanosatellite products (plasma thruster and reaction wheel), you are in charge of designing/checking/updating the C code embedded in microcontrollers (PIC16F and MSP430) according to the requirements specified by our R&D team in this field.
You will have to:
- Code all the C functions and structures enabling the hardware to work.
- Code packet encapsulation through NSP protocol.
- Code the commands/answers that the OBC will be able to send/receive.
- Optimise the code in general (memory, commands, communication logics, etc…).
You will redact a detailed communication protocol that will be integrated into the user manual of each product.

You have an engineering background. You are proficient in C language and are familiar with embedded programming (ideally in the space environment).
Education: Engineering school (ISAE, ENSEEIHT…).
Language: Fluent English.
Requested qualities: Rigour, dynamism, initiative, ability to synthetize, proactivity.
